You're not one to fall in love easily. On the contrary. You might tend to "fall into obsession" and stay obsessed with one person for long stretches of time. You put those people on a pedestal. You're genuinely interested in exploring them. However, you might want to watch out for idealization, because when the adored one turns out to be just a normal person with flaws and vulnerabilities, you might wrinkle your nose. Addiction is dangerous, but (you often wonder) so what? Everyone keeps talking about the lows, but how about the highs? This doesn't mean that you're a gambler or a smoker. It simply means that you totally get where those people are coming from. And, no matter how tough and disciplined you are, if you were to give in to guilty pleasures, it would be to something with serious edge - an edge you'd fall off on your own, not pulling anyone down after you. To you, we're born alone, and we should pay for our sins alone. Surprising twist: you could make one hell of a therapist.
