    1. Oh, this is very interesting, Chris! This means that you often accumulate negative energy. Cats absorb that energy (they feed on it, their biorhythm is special in that way.) If your subconscious led you to this choice, it means you need cats as a form of medicine often. They absorb the ngative energy and give out positive in return.

        I’ve always liked cats.

        And cats always liked me.

        I remember once when my sister’s homicidally inclined first husband tried to hit me over the head with a baseball bat as I was sleeping in her house because I missed the last bus home, her cat (who liked me unlike my first brother-in-law and as I discovered after my dad’s death- my sister) spat at him and my brother-in-law (who was afraid of cats) ran away. The cat then slept on my stomach the rest of the night to protect me from him. As soon as I was no longer tired, I said good-bye to the cat and left the house to catch the first bus home.

        There were a series of novels about the Church of England written by novelist Susan Howatch whose central character was a Father Jonathan Darrow an Anglo-Catholic Church of England priest who was also a psychic.

        I always strongly related to Father Darrow’s character.

        But I remember Father Darrow always had a cat in the house.

        If I ever get my own permanent place and have a steady income, I think I shall get myself a cat as a pet.

      2. Oh, Chris, that is one mind-blowing story with your first brother in law! I don’t want to imagine the fright you must’ve gone through, the tension and the terror of being stuck in a house with such a person…

      3. It was quite a terrifying experience indeed.

        I was just in my late teens or early 20s when it happened.

        But when it happened, that’s when I came to know and appreciate the psychic abilities of cats.

        The cat knew what he was up to and the cat watched over me and protected me.

        For which I’m very grateful.

  4. Oh, definitely #5 with an affinity for #3 too. My ethos doesn’t allow the acknowledgment of the explanations except the last of #3. Now that is a direct hit at the moment. 😀
